Michael Hatton
Director / Engineering Survey Manager
Has been involved in surveying and business management for the last 15 years, graduated from surveying at Sydney tafe in 1997 and completed the majority of the surveying degree externally through USQ,

Has worked for a number of large and small surveying firms in Sydney, London and Perth, during his development he left surveying for 18 months to pursue site management with a small civil company in Sydney, returning to surveying to establish Total Surveying Solutions in 2004.

The positive relationships he maintained with subcontractors, past employers and teachers allowed TSS to engage work immediately, with these continued relationships and development of new relationships TSS has grown soundly.

Michael continues to work within TSS mainly as an assistant to the growth of TSS’s staff, business and clients.

Mathew Hynes
Registered Surveyor
Mathew Hynes has been involved in the Surveying profession for over 17 years. Mathew graduated with honours in Surveying from the University of Newcastle in 1998 and was registered as a land surveyor in 2008.

Mathew has been employed in both private practice and the public sector. He has been involved in major infrastructure projects and was awarded an Excellence in Surveying Award in 2006 for his part in works on the Lane Cove Tunnel project.

Mathew has been involved in the Institution for a number of years. Mathew is past chairman of the Young Surveyors Group. Mathew is now treasurer of the Cumberland Group.

Gerard Giffney
Portfolio – Lettable Area & Architectural Surveys
Gerard has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years in the fields of Architectural Design / Drafting with the past 3 years being in a Project Manager / Surveying role. Gerard is an expert in the field of Architectural Surveys and PCA Lettable Area Surveys. He has completed Architectural Surveys of many hotels and city office towers prior to refurbishment. His background in Architectural, Surveying and Project Management roles provides a sound understanding of what our clients require on each job we undertake. Gerard joined Total Surveying Solutions in April 2009.

Chris Donovan
Project Surveyor
Chris started his career at Millar & Merrigan Land Surveyors in 1998 as a survey assistant working on many large subdivisions, detail surveys and road setouts. From 2003 – 2005 he worked for Oakpark Constructions in Melbourne working on The Austin Hospital Refurbishment. In 2005 Chris travelled to the UK and worked with Fitzpatrick  Contractors in London for 2 years as a site engineer working on The Channel Tunnel Rail Link (Eurostar Depot). Chris started work with Total Surveying Solutions in May 2007 and has worked on Chatswood Transport Interchange, West Camden sewer treatment plant and many other large projects in the Sydney area. Chris is highly regarded for both his work ethic and service he delivers to clients on a regular basis.

Daniel Provost
Project Surveyor
Daniel has been in the surveying industry for 7 years and has worked on major rail infrastructure projects, remediation work, bridge construction, multiple civil and construction work over this period.

Daniel has a great repour with clients and takes pride in the relationships he builds with clients.

Ashley Wilsher
Project Surveyor
Ashley has been involved in the Surveying profession for over 30 years and obtained the Engineering Surveying Certificate from Sydney TAFE.

Ashley has worked on most of the Olympic Projects & new showground at Homebush over the last 10 years including The Olympic Stadium, Acer Arena, Overflow Car Park, Dog, Cat, Horse Pavillions and Woodchop etc.

Ashley has worked on Mascot & HMAS Albatross (Nowra) Airports and on major road projects for the RTA including M7 Motorway for 3 years and the New England Highway at Tamworth & Armidale which were both 12 month projects.
